David's first bath was a very social event.

Daniel lost his first tooth last week!  He is grateful for Mia who kicked him in the mouth at school.   

When the baby cries, Nathan breaks out in song and serenades him back to sleep.  

Peter, once very excited about the piano, is now sick of it and can't wait for baseball season to begin.

I love this picture of Anelise holding David.  If only we could all be so carefree when the baby cries.

The lake and the icebergs have been so beautiful this spring.

Montana with Friends

In August we had the opportunity to visit our friends, Taylor and Wendy, who live in Bozeman, MT.  Wendy grew up there on a potato farm and we had the chance to visit the farm and her family on our first day there, Sunday.  We took a 2 hour float by tubes down the Gallatin River on their property, then ended the day with a steak dinner and playing on the farm.

Aaron and Sarah with their kids, Gerald, Henry, Helen, Walter, and not pictured, Norman.  Our 3 families were originally friends in Indy when we spent many nights playing cards together.  Meeting up in Montana was a mini reunion. 

We spent 2 days in Yellowstone.  Here are some of the highlights:  Old Faithful

Behind the boys, Excelsior Geyser overflows as that yellowish stream on the left and goes down as a waterfall into the Firehole River.

My favorite thing there is the Grand Prismatic Spring which is the largest hot spring in the park.  This picture barely captures it.
