Kristine and I went x-country skiing in MillCreek today. It wasn't really in black and white. Gotcha. This blog really keeps you on your toes, huh?
We got this really hot guy to take our picture at B&N.

Joel had a day off work today so we set off to tackle the ski hills of Snowbird. As you can see, it wasn't all work...we took a few breaks. Kristine is in town visiting and got to ski in today's Utah blizzard. Nobody really complained though since it is our first real snowfall of the year.

Hi Honey!

Hi Joel! I'm at Snowbird skiing. Love ya!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today Joel and I are celebrating our many reasons to give thanks in some unique ways. Joel is wearing funny green pajamas and hanging out in the hospital. I risked my life by trying to get down a mountain on skis. I am very thankful to be alive, really.

We're Finally Skiing!

Joel and I went skiing for the first time on Monday. We actually had to hike about 1/2 hour from our car (carrying our skiis) before we could get to this area with some good snow and a reasonable slope for cross-country skiing. What this picture doesn't capture is the peaceful silence of the place. You would never guess we are only 1 hour from our house with how remote the area felt.
Joel practiced a few downhill skiing moves.... Snowbird is scheduled to open tomorrow despite a meager snowfall to date.

I went snowshoeing today whilst Shontel threw a baby shower for a couple of my coworkers wives. It was a beautiful day--we had to go with just short sleeves for a while.
I went with this guy. His name's Trevor, but you may know him as Spiderman if you are a follower of our blog.

Well, of course, I won. Slow and steady...slow and steady.

Shontel's mom is out here for a few days. Tonight we all had a good time doing creative memories together.

Here's the Mormon Tabernacle Choir:

Hike to White Pine Lake (almost)

Shontel says snowshoes are sounding like a good idea. I just tell her she already has them. She thinks that's just hilarious after walking through knee deep powder.
Can you hear me now? Nutz. David? Are you there?
