I've started cooking again!
After Peter's birth, we were given many meals and some for the freezer too. Now that those are gone, we're back to reality....hence, tonight's conversation just now:
Me: Put that pan outside and hope that the possums eat it.
Joel: There's no way possums would eat this.
Too bad I can't remember what the boys said when I tried to force them to eat it ("It" was stinky bean soup that burned on the bottom and yet the beans were uncooked). They said something pretty complicated like "yuck". Joel later told me that when he walked in the door after work he thought it smelled like I was draining an abscess somewhere in the house.

Goodbye Coffee Grandma
This picture was taken one week ago today with 10 of her great grandchildren. After bravely dealing with Squamous cell skin cancer for 9 months, my Grandma passed away on Friday the 12th. Last Sunday was our final "coffee" at her house, a tradition we had every Sunday since I was a child. We will certainly miss Coffee Grandma.

Happy Halloween
The night that Nathan and Daniel wore their dinosaur suits and made mischief of one kind and another, their mother called them "WILD THING!".
Roar.
