Myrtle Beach

Joel and I took a long weekend trip to the cheapest place we could find with a non-stop flight from Chicago. Turns out that was Myrtle Beach. As you can see, Peter was our guest of honor (who also made us glad we chose a non-stop flight).
Still not a fan of solid foods or bottles, hair is a new favorite.

First time swimming. He seemed unimpressed.

Can you do this?

The boys like to do finger gymnastics and Nathan has come up with a really difficult one that he thinks no one else can do!

Nathan turned 4

and he would be quick to tell you that it is a pretty impressive feat he has accomplished. I don't know if you remember turning 4, but it is apparently a pretty big deal.
Gramps and Gram came and they all went to the Children's museum.
Nathan wanted apple pie for his birthday "cake". Excellent choice.
We had a bowling party with 10 two to seven year olds. Here they are eating their hot dogs. Yes, it was pretty fun. It made you wish that there was a decline to the bowling lane so things would speed along a little bit.

Truck cake. (Since it's hard to make apple pie shaped like a truck).
