Daniel was sporting some new gear today that he got as a gift from Joel's boss, or boss' wife. In any case, he was getting pretty uppity about how cool he looked. What an ego.

Papa V

We had a great weekend with Joel's parents, who came to visit since Joel was on call. Nathan loved Papa V's computer because it had the moon as a screen saver. Nathan likes the moon so much that I think he put it on his Christmas list this year.

Daniel doesn't jump as much as Nathan did at this age, but why should he when he has Nathan's constant assistance with jumping? Although I have set a firm "no" on Nathan's idea of giving Daniel under-dogs.

Snuggling. It's what Daniel does best!

Shontel's parents, Gramps and Gram, came down for a visit this weekend. Nathan sweet-talked Gramps into reading all of the downstairs books. The upstairs books? No, don't be silly...that's way too many.

Daniel's favorite things to do: snuggle and sleep.....preferably at the same time.

Scary Halloween Stories

We heard some frightening stories from Daniel tonight. They were so scary, they even scared him!

Mama with the wildlife. Speaking of wildlife, notice the squirrel eaten eyes on that jack-o-lantern. Talk about creepy. I bet pumpkins have nightmares about that.

This was all your idea

One weekend ago, Nathan and I tried to spend the night in our backyard in a tent. In order to get him in there I had to bribe him with an Elmo DVD. Now he associates tents with watching DVDs. We ended up going inside at 4:30 am because I was freezing. I had to wake Nathan, who was sleeping soundly.

Nathan: No one knows that this is really a fake laugh!
Daniel: He's ALWAYS going to be my brother?
