Happy Halloween!

Monday, October 27, 2008

10/18/2008. 11:57 am local time. 3 minutes until pheasant time.

We considered this close enough to the opening day start time of noon. It all depends whose watch you check.

This music is by the group "Songs of the Green Pheasant"--they are my favorite.

Before

Here's me in a ditch in pheasantville. Right around here.

After

Please note that I am not explicitly stating that I shot all of these birds...merely implying it.

It almost seems redundant to me. Did anyone really think there would be another?

If you want a real time look at what exactly is happening with this corn, check here.

I thought that those who didn't like ABBA, might enjoy something by Korn. But, it is just not that kind of blog.

My two little honeys

Today we had a honey tasting party while these 2 squirts were napping. They are not included in the count of 26 different honeys that we had at the party to sample.

Nathan's new trick is counting "1, 2, 3". According to him, that's how many apples we picked this weekend.

Happy Birthday!

I had a great birthday this year.....just hanging out with the 2 boys and my parents during the day and then going out for dinner with Joel that evening.

Picnic lunch with Gramps.

Swimming with Gram.

Baptism

We had both of our boys baptized on Sunday, October 5. It was a very special day, and all of our family came to celebrate it with us. Psalm 126:3 was our verse for the event: "The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."

At our church (just clarifying in case you mistakenly took this building for our house.)

Joel's side of our family

My side of our family. Looks like I must have just told a good joke.
