We got a bunch more apples this weekend. We're having a competition with the boys: can we make more applesauce than they can eat. I don't like our odds.

The boys got to pay a visit to Indy's ladder 13 crew downtown. They even got to see them slide down the big pole.

If these 2 are within 2 feet of each other, they need to be touching. The most common forms of affection are hitting, pushing, and pulling hair so this was quite a curve ball.

First Day of School

"The Fort" has some inherent complications, but it has provided endless hours of fun. Pictured here you see them each in their own room, with the bathroom as the middle room. One complication occurs when Daniel goes to the bathroom and then into Nathan's room instead of returning to his own room. Another problem is when Daniel jumps out of his room and hits the wood floor with his head. (that problem hasn't actually happened yet, but I foresee it in the near future.)

Monkey and the Weasel

These two characters used refer to themselves as "the cat" (Nathan) and "the chicken" (Daniel). The latest is that they chase eachother around the mulberry bush (table) as the Monkey (Nathan) and the Weasel (Daniel). I know, it gets very complicated. I mix up their names all the time so don't feel bad if you say something like, "Hi Monkey, I mean, Nathan."
